Last Saturday, I wrote an entry on What's The Next Action called On-line GTD with Nozbe and Google Calendar, in which I explain how two on-line services can be used together as a complete productivity tool.
And yesterday my second guest post (which I wrote some weeks ago) was published on GTD Experiences. The post is called Getting GTD Done, and gives nine tips that in my experience help when implementing the GTD method. This last post is also available in Spanish on El Canasto.
Now it is time again to write on my own blogs...

After six days of giving training in German, I am not able to speak normally any more. What really killed me was not speaking German, but the little things I did in the breaks: talking with my colleagues (Spanish), ordering in the restaurant (Catalan), answering some e-mails (English & Dutch), reading documentation (Italian)...
To much switching languages combined with a little bit of tiredness and I start mixing up everything! This lunchtime I told the waiter that I wanted a table for drei persons. I need a rest, and fortunately for me, Lleida celebrates its Festa Major this Friday, so my week is almost finished.

I am ready for it! Within a few hours I will leave for Germany to participate in the CeBIT. That also means that the coming two weeks this weblog will be even more quiet than it already is, as I will have very limited time.
If you happen to be in Hannover as well, feel free to drop by in hall 1, stand G33/1.
See you later!
Hire me. My rate would be onehundredandtwentyfive an hour. Plus VAT and expenses. Four hours minimum. Dollars for small problems, Euros for big problems. British Pounds for management problems.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! If there’s a problem, fix it. If your job can’t be fixed, quit. How dare you waste your life in exchange for a paycheck. You have high speed internet access, bub, you’ve got no excuse. You don’t live a hovel in Ghana. Go do it!! Pick up the phone and call someone.

Just like most other weblogs, this site has its ups and downs, and you might have noticed that it has been down lately. I am quite busy at the moment, working parallel at several projects.
The company I work for is preparing for the SIMO trade show in Madrid, where we will present the new versions of our products. Though I won't be present at the show (my responsibilities lie outside Spain) I do have a lot of extra work concerning translating and testing the new software.
Then I am working on the new Fimcap web site. This weekend we are going to finish the forum functionality and start working on the design. We already did some brainstorming and I am happy that we are all more or less on the same line. Once the design is finished we will start using the first parts of the new site, and gradually transfer more functionality.
Once in a while I also work a little bit on BryteNet hosting. Little by little the customers are coming in, but as everything is running smoothly and automated, I don't have much work on it.
And finally there is the blogging thing. I am planning on taking it more seriously, using Brain Tags for playing around, and doing the real blogging at The Wizard of POS. I am rethinking my work flow to crank up the posting frequency --now once a week-- and have a more diverse range of articles. Furthermore I am working on a new weblog in Spanish about GTD.
You see, I have plenty of work, so I better stop writing and get something done!
After reading the lifehacker How I work series, I thought that it might be interesting to write down my own way of working for the readers of BryteNet.

After having our own stand on the CeBIT for two years, we have decided not to go this year. The reasons are the high cost of stand space, the length of the show and the decreasing number of business visitors. Though I always liked going to the CeBIT, this decision saves me a lot of time, as I don't have to prepare the stand, and will stay at the office during the two weeks that I normally need for the CeBIT. One of the things I will be doing during these weeks is contacting visitors of our stand during the previous years and polling their interest in our products.
On the other hand, I won't be able to rome around to find interesting new products as the Ultra-Mobile PC. But I will try to spot new POS products through press releases and corporate sites, and publish these on the Point Of Sale weblog.
It's a small place is a new blog I created today. You might be wondering why I am starting a new blog while I even haven't got the time to update Brain tags regulary! The truth is that I am blogging just as much as always, but I spread my witings over several sites to prevent clutter.
If you are interested in my personal life and general writings about technology and travelling, Brain Tags is the place to be.
And if you are interested in news and my opinion about the Point of Sale market, I give you the POS Blog.
And now I have It's a small place, giving you a view behind the curtains of a small part-time hosting company.
I have started writing about what I did to set it all up, with todays article telling on how I got the idea to start a hosting business. Of course, Brain Tags readers already know the answer, but I included it for completeness.
It's a small place is also the first site I created in WordPress. For the moment the set--up is very basic ---I only changed the default templates--- but you can expect some more tinkering in the coming weeks. So far I have been impressed by WordPress: the installation was peanuts, and there is plenty of functionality. The user interface is not as sleek as the Movable Type interface, but I value function over looks anyway.
